Well there's plenty of sunshine in my neck of the woods - how about yours? If there isn't, let me send some your way with this little cutie from All That Scraps in her teenie polka-dot bikini! The deets are; cardstock - Bazzill kraft, SU Green Galore and Pacific Point. The flowered paper was from a gift set, so I'm not sure who makes it. Then I added a Close to My Heart flower in her hair with a green rhinestone, a Melissa Frances button with yellow crochet thread and some yellow ribbon. She is also pop-dotted. Hope you like her!

It's Thursday or Friday-Eve that is, and so of course I'm happy tomorrow is Friday! It's been a pretty busy week for me at work, and that's good, but I'm tired. On top of that the heat really zaps your energy, as well. I have no plans for the upcoming weekend, and that's ok by me.

I hope your week is going along good, thanks for your continued support and your great comments, they do cheer me up!!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! It's week 8 and so here's the sketch to follow. I used an image from Pink Petticoat that I colored in with SU markers from the Rich Regals set. The papers are also SU, the patterned papers are from the Bella Bleu collection, and the cardstock colors are Night of Navy and Bravo Burgundy. Then I added a bunch of rhinestones and some twine to tie it all up with a bow. This is a really fun sketch to play with, and I'd really luv it if you joined in on the fun with the rest of us. It's just good sweet fun!

Peace and Luv,
It's another Monday, which means Mojo Monday and this card is for Sketch 97. The stamps that I used are from Close to My Heart, the Coffee Stain set. The papers are SU, the Parisian Breeze set, and the cardstock is Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze, with a little bit of Riding Hood Red. The ink that I used is Close to Cocoa and Riding Hood Red. The corner punch is from EK Success and the ribbon is just a scrap I've had around, not sure where it's from.

I hope your Monday went well, and at least we're one day closer to the weekend at this point, ya?!

Thanks for checking in and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Sunday evening! Today's card is for 365 Cards:Day 148 Super Sketchy Sunday. The image is Pink Petticoat, the DP is Pink Paislee, the cardstock is SU's Always Artichoke and Regal Rose. The markers I used are Always Artichoke, Regal Rose, Bordering Blue and Rose Red. The paisley stamp is from Close to My Heart, the You've Got Flair set. The flower and big brad are both from Kaiser. The image is pop-dotted. I really like these new papers that I just got. Really great colors and patterns together.

Well yesterday was the art faire and altho I had fun hangin with the gals, it was extremely hot and I didn't sell very much at all. It's disappointing but I received lots and lots of positive comments. It's hard to sell cards to cardmakers I suppose. It is what it is, and I luv making them, so that's what it's all about and I won't try doing something like that again. I'll just have to find more charities to donate to, as that gives me more happiness than anything else.

I hope your weekend was good. Neal and I had a fun day together today and now I'm going to wind down a bit and snuggle in with my honey while we watch Big Brother.

Thanks for visiting and I appreciate your great comments very much.

Peace and Luv,
Happy Friday! Well the art faire that I'm going to be in is tomorrow. It's late Friday nite already and the bug is packed up and I've got to get to bed. This is one of the bags that I took a quick pic of that I'll be trying to sell tomorrow. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but you know how that goes. The bag is just one of those that you get in a bunch at Michael's that I dressed up with some paper from the DCWV's Garden Stack and some Chocolate Chip cardstock. I colored the Pink Petticoat image in with some markers and made a tag out of it and tied it on with some ribbon. It looks much cuter and sparkly than this pic makes it out to be.

So I won't be posting anything tomorrow, since the show goes from 9-5 and I'm sure I'm going to be pretty tired by the time I get home. I'll do my best to get something to you on Sunday, whatever time of day it is that I finally get out of bed!

Take care, thanks for stopping in and for all of your great comments!

Peace and Luv,
It's ad inspired day at 365 Cards:Day 145. This great pillow to the right was the fun inspiration for today. I used Sassafrass papers, some butterfly stamps from Unity, a label and bird nestie and then just some rhinestones and twill ribbon. What seems like it should have been a quick card was not for me, but that's the way it goes sometimes.

I'm going to be up a little while longer, as I've got some more things to get done yet tonite, so I'll make this short and sweet. I do hope your week is going along well and I appreciate you stopping in.

Take care and thanks for all of the great comments!

Peace and Luv,
A yummy for your tummy treat today and the sketch used is from Tuesday Morning Sketches. There's a whole lotta bling going on. It may be hard to see, but there's 18, yes 18 rhinestones on the front of this one! The stamps are from Unity and the papers used are SU's Bella Rose, Chocolate Chip and white cardstock. I used some markers to color; Ruby Red, Creamy Caramel, and Cameo Coral. Then I used an oval nestie, a large scallop circle punch, some pop-dots, and some sheer white ribbon for the bow. Melissa has some great challenges, and by the way I won some awesome free digital images last week, thanks to her! Check out this post! Is her daughter not the most adorable thing you've ever seen?! Thanks again Melissa!

I'm feeling pretty good, finally. Who knows what comes over me sometimes, but I think I've finally gotten rid of it. We'll see how I feel in the morning. Work was good, I learned some more new stuff today, and that's always exciting for me.

I hope your Tuesday was a good one - thanks for your awesome comments and take care!

Peace and Luv,
I don't have a problem with caffeine, I have a problem without caffeine! Hi and how's your Mojo this Monday? Mine isn't so good. I stayed home today from work, not sure what's wrong with me, probably dehydrated, but certainly under the weather for sure. I just took a shower not too long ago and managed to get this card done, but it's back to the couch for me after this. Today's card is for Mojo Monday's Week 96 sketch. I used SU's Raspberry Tart papers, and Pretty in Pink and white cardstock. The stamp is from Unity, that I paper-pieced and colored. I used a circle Nestie, a corner punch from EK Success, some rhinestones, ribbon and pop-dots.

I've had my fill of daytime shows again, I tried to watch Days of Our Lives that I've watched on and off since I was in high school and I don't even know half the people anymore. Tonite there's the Bachelorette. I'm glad it's almost over. This one irritated me. Then there's a new show starting, Dating in the Dark. Now you know I gotta tune in and see what it's all about, ya?!

I also received an award from fellow blogger Alicia from across the pond in Australia! She's so adorable and makes the cutest cards, so do visit her at Time to Create some time. Thanks again Alicia!

Thanks for visiting, take care of yourself and I always enjoy your comments!

Peace and Luv,

Happy Sunday! Today's card is for 365 Cards:Day 141 - Super Sketchy Sunday, which I turned upside down. This paper is from Imaginisce, and when I was shopping with some of the gals last weekend, Jaylene (the enabler) found this paper and thought it looked like Farmtown on Facebook that some of us play. It certainly is cute, and the blue clouds are the reverse side of it. Other than that, I used some craft colored Bazzil and white cardstock, added a Prisma flower with a button in the middle tied with crochet thread. Then there's just some lace at the bottom. A quick and easy one for ya today!

Well the itty bitty bathroom is done, I've got to get some accessories for it and complete my craft projects for it, but it turned out awesome! Neal is on to another project already, he's at Home Depot as I write, getting some shelving for our storage closet. He goes back to teaching in a couple of weeks, but I sure am happy about what he's gotten done this summer in our little luv shack!

I have some exciting news today - I have been asked to become one of Sweet Sketch Wednesday's Design Team! I hope you will join me in making some fun cards with Arlana's awesome layouts!

I hope your weekend is good and that you're enjoying yourself whatever it is you're doing today. Thanks for visiting and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hello! I found a fun new digital image site called Bee Crafty downloads and this little gal is a freebie. Luv that little smirk she's got on her face! The layout is from Sketch Saturday and this is sketch #60. The papers I used are all SU, the Cottage Wall set with some Rich Razzleberry and ivory cardstock. The flower is Prisma and then I put a button in the middle of it with some purple crochet thread. Then I just added some green rhinestones. I'm not crazy about how dark her dress came out, but other than that, it was a fun layout to work with.

I've gotten a couple more cards done for the show next weekend, so I'm happy about that. I think I have around 50ish now. My goal was 100, but I'm not going to stress about it and just try and get what I can done. I'd rather sell everything than have a bunch of extras.

I hope you're Saturday is a good one and thanks for stopping in!

Peace and Luv,
Hello girlfriend! As you can see, I'm still trying to get caught up on some challenges this week as this card is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday #6. The patterned paper is from DCWV's retro stack, and other than that there's just some sunflower, brown and white cardstock. The images are Pink Petticoat's, that I cut out with a square scallop punch and then I used a couple of markers and a white Signo pen on them. I added a couple of rhinestones and tied a bit of ribbon on, and that's about it. It's fun and happy and kinda retro I think, just like the paper.

Gosh I'm so happy it's Friday! Neal's busy tonite co-producing a movie here in town with a group of teachers and actors so I did some cleaning and watched some tv. I'm tired, and I think I'll hit the couch for awhile and wait for Neal to get home now.

I hope your day was good and thanks for visiting!

Peace and Luv,
Toad-ally! This is the second sketch on the Tuesday Morning blog that, of course, I turned vertically. The papers are all from SU - the Bold Brights set for the cardstock and the patterned papers are from what I think is called Delicate Dots. It was a special collection from awhile back. I also used the Bold Brights markers, some thin lite green ribbon, a pink button and a small star punch. This is a smaller little notecard, only about 3x5. It's a fun size to write a quick note on and pop in the mail to someone special.

It's really, really crazy hot here and it was supposed to rain, or rather monsoon, but it never did. From what I hear the weekend is supposed to be even hotter! Good thing, besides getting a pedicure Saturday, that I plan on staying in and getting ready for the craft fair on the 25th!

I hope your week is going good, and that your creative juices are flowing. I luv your comments and appreciate them very much. Take care and stay toad-ally cool!

Peace and Luv,
Hi there! It's Wednesday nite already and I just got home from my card swap. This is the card that I made for it. It's not a great picture, and the ribbon looks black, but it's really dark brown. I just used this image recently from Pink Petticoat, but I think it's cute and thought that the gals would like it. The papers are from DCWV's Garden Party stack, and I added a pink rhinestone on the slip. I like these colors together too.

Geez I've been busy....and the powder room is pretty much done so I'll take some reveal pics this week to share with you. It's such a tiny room, but now it is oh so cool! I think I'll be home tomorrow nite in order to get something done and posted (fingers crossed). I'm missing all of these great challenges that I want to join!

I hope your week is going good, thanks for stopping in and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Mojo Monday! This is my card for today's Mojo Sketch 95 challenge and it's for my niece's birthday, so if you're checking in Jen - Happy early Birthday and this will be in the mail to you! I used some new papers from SU called Thoroughly Modern. Really like these new colors of papers and markers. The image is Pink Petticoat and then I used some Close to My Heart flowers and put a rhinestone in the center of it. I also used a scallop border punch, and some sheer ribbon.

It's almost 10pm already, and it's been a long day it seems. I'll probably be up another hour at least to finish some things up here and then hit the hay to start all over again tomorrow. I just finished watching The Bachelorette - oy! The crazy things I watch!

I hope your day was a good one and I appreciate your comments very much. It's so hot here that there's heat warnings and alerts out. I know my car temperature said it was 113 when I was driving home from work and that's just crazy! Take care and stay cool!

Peace and Luv,
Fruitcake?! This is a catch up card for the challenge at Shirley's 2 Girls for Twisted Thursday #18 Christmas in July. They even included this FREE digital download (go to their blog and get it) and the twist is to use something clear. The clear part for this card is the vellum flowers. The papers are from SU's Pattern Pack II and the cardstocks are from the Soft Subltes line, as are the markers that I used to color in the image. Also used is a circle nestie, a small flower punch, some rhinestones and silver twine. The frosting on the fruitcake is some pink Stickles. It's never too early to think about what kind of cards we're going to make for the holidays, and Shirley's 2 Girls has already come up with some great stamps and digital download images and papers for the holidays. It beats being stressed out when the holidays do come around if your cards are already done. This card is just plain fun I think and different enough that I will for sure use to send out because of how different it is. I don't like to do traditional and if I did, my friends and family would think there was something wrong with me! I actually like fruitcake, so that just goes to show how different I am, no?! What's not to like about it - it has the word cake in it!

Second, is this little diddy that I made at the Close to My Heart par-tay that I went to yesterday. I managed to make one other card, but I was socializing too much to finish it as well as get to the third one! Ronah, the Close to My Heart gal always comes up with the sweetest designs! This is actually just a little itty bitty card that's 3x3, but I do luv the colors. Thanks Ronah and to Brenda for her hospitali-tay!!

I do hope to get more card challenge time in this week and I'm sorry I didn't post much last week. I do have the card swap this Wednesday and have yet to complete them, so that's top priority.

It's the end of the weekend already and so it's back to work for me already in the morning. Remember when I was complaining about being home too much a couple of months back?! Oh well, I didn't win the lottery so that's the way it goes, and I do enjoy my job. Thanks for stopping in, and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Hey and Happy Weekend! I made this thank you card for my bank guy who helped me out in getting the car. I was going for manly, not sure it is so much, but y'all know how hard it is to do boy cards! The papers are SU's Parisian Breeze and they are thick and textured. I don't think they're in the new catalog tho, so I'm glad I was able to get them while I could. I actually stamped something, surprise surprise, and the stamp is also SU - and this thank you stamp is from the A Little Somethin' set and I stamped it in Chocolate Chip ink and then distressed it too. Then I just added a little bit of brown ribbon. This is a gift card holder, so it's a tri-fold but the right inside flap is glued down on the top and bottom so that the gift card can slide in. Then on the inside of the left flap I put my personal sentiment. Voila!

Here's a pic of my baby tiling the bathroom floor. He's never done this before and he is doing such an awesome job. I think we're going to have to tile all of the other bathrooms now too!! Just thought you'd like a little peek at what's happening in there as we go along.

I've got another Close to My Heart par-tay to attend here in a few hours, so I will be posting tomorrow what we make. I hear there may be around 20 of us today, so it should make for lots of laughter and fun!

I hope you have a great weekend - as always thanks for visiting, and take care of yourself and those you luv!

Much Peace and Luv to you!
Hi there - I've just got a little note card for ya today. I used some of the "older" SU In Color cardstocks, Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze. I had found this sheer ribbon not too long ago and I was excited about it because I knew it would match these cardstocks, and then they go and discontinue them! It figures, ya?! Anyway, the image is Pink Petticoat, colored in with markers and pop-dotted. The flowers are Close to My Heart and then I just added some rhinestones. I couldn't really decide what I wanted to say on the front, besides a little bird told me, so I left it without one. If you have any ideas, let me know!

I didn't post anything yesterday because my desk and computer were non-existent! We had some new lighting installed over our desks and so it took a little while to get everything back together again. My stuff was all over the place tho, and so I didn't get anything new done to post.

This has been a long week, but it always feels that way after a holiday I suppose. I'm just glad tomorrow is Friday. Neal is doing an awesome job on fixing up our little bathroom, and I can't wait to show you some pics. I wish I had taken some before pics. But just picture the usual white cabinet with an old beige sink that has a crack in it and a cigarette stain! It's going to be so beautiful when it's done, which we are both hoping will be the beginning of next week. We've had the dad of a friend of mine help out with the electricity and plumbing, who has been a huge help and we couldn't have done it without him. All this from finding a brand new sink in the dumpster!

Anyway, I hope your week has gone good, thanks for stopping in and take care!

Peace and Luv,
Happy Tuesday, what's left of it at this point! This is the first sketch challenge for a new blog called Tuesday Morning Sketches. Well it's Tuesday nite for me, so I decided to do a sassy nite time version of a glitzy card. Like I said yesterday, I don't like doing horizontal cards, so today if you tilt your head to the left (hehe), you'll see how I followed the sketch. The image is Pink Petticoat, the papers are from DCWV's All Dressed Up glitter stack, with SU's Pretty in Pink, black and white cardstock. Then I just added some sheer black ribbon, pop-dotted the image, and added a rhinestone to the top of the shoe. It's pretty ooh-la-la, ya?!!

Congrat-shoe-lations to Melissa at Tuesday Morning Sketches for starting what I hope will bring lots of fun times ahead for all!

Peace and Luv,

P.S. Update for Wednesday 7/8: The challenge for today at 365 Cards:Day 130 is - That Tickles Me - and it's to make a card that's funny or put a smile on your face. Well I think that this card is just right for it! Enjoy!
