Happy Tuesday, and welcome to day 2 of a week of Thank You's! This one uses 2 stamps from SU's Pocket Silhouettes set. I never realized how much I'd use this set when I ordered it, but it sure comes in handy, and I really like it. The base cardstock is Lavender Lace, with some Creamy Caramel. The DP is from CTMH's Bella set. The crimped and border punched scrap is from a card from not too long ago, if you follow me. I'm glad I kept it!

Thanks so much to you for visiting, have a terrific Tuesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Monday! How about a week of Thank You's? I think that we all could probably say it more often, and what better way than with a handmade card? I hope this week I'll give you a little bit of inspiration to do just that.

The base of the card is SU's Crushed Curry, and then I also used some Basic Gray for layering. The polka dot paper is from an older Pattern pack. I can't remember where the yellow and white DP is from, sorry about that. Then I cut out a white nestie shape for the center, stamped a little vine, and then stamped and cut out a butterfly, both from Unity. I added 3 black rhinestones in the center of the butterfly and just glued down the center so it's dimensional.
It's a simple but sunny thank for you today and I hope you like it.

Thanks so much for popping in on this Monday, I hope the day will be a good one for you,
and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy, happy Friday!! Yippee we made it!! It's the 5th and final day of Purple Power week and I used what was left of the violet paper scraps from the card on Tuesday. The image is from Pink Petticoat, and other than the Bazzil purple, the green is SU's Mellow Moss. Then I added some Prisma glitter to the image and tied it all up with some pretty lace. That's it!

Of course I know we're all happy it's Friday, and I do hope that your weekend will be a fantastic one. Thanks for hanging out with me this week and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Thursday and welcome to Day 4 of Purple Power Week...yippee!! The Paper Play Challenge this week is a sketch challenge as you can see. I used a Pink Petticoat image, and the DP is from that same older DCWV Pocket Full of Posies stack that I used the other day. The Cardstocks are; Bazzil purple, and SU's Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery. I colored the image in a bit with some markers, and used 2 circle nesties. Then I also used a large scallop scissor, tied a pretty sheer purple ribbon and bow on, and added a couple of rhinestones for some bling!

Well I went to the podiatrist yesterday, and I have a hairline fracture in the bone that goes to my second toe, but underneath. How the heck did I do it?...no clue! So I have to keep it wrapped up and wear running/tennis shoes for about 3 weeks so that it doesn't fracture completely. No flip-flips?....it was a good thing I was sitting down!! Anway, everybody that I've talked to loves their podiatrist and I have to say I really liked this guy too. He's from New York, and I could listen to that accent all day long! He was super sweet and I'm glad I went when I did before it got worse. It's just the shoes and socks thing I've got a problem with! Socks in Arizona? What?

Thanks so much for checking in with me, have an awesome Thursday,
and take care of those feet!!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday and Day 3 of Purple Power Week! Today's sponsor of Challenge 64 is Digi Stamp Characters and the prize this week is 3 digital images from their Etsy shop! These little characters and animals are just adorable, so be sure to check out the shop and add a few to your wish list.

Well, if you give me a clean slate, or in this case a clean blackboard, I'm going to put the Peace sign on it, and that's all there is to it. When I think of this little guy in school and actually drawing this on the blackboard, it seriously gives me goosebumps. This card is going nowhere but on my desk for awhile.

I used a Frost White ColorBox ink pad (that takes a very long time to dry but well worth it) with a stamp that's from Inkadinkado and on top of the black it really looks like chalk to me don't-cha think? The numbers DP is from Making Memories, and besides the purple Bazzil, I used some Mellow Moss cardstock that I used my little zig-zag scissor on. I'm not sure where the ribbon is from, but I think it works well with this sketch and image. It could be Making Memories also.

Be sure to check out the wonderful creativity of the rest of the Design Team, and join us this week for the chance to win some of these cutie patootie's!

Thanks for stopping by, wish me luck at the podiatrist this afternoon (I'm a little scared), and take care of yourself!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday and welcome to Day 2 of Purple Power week! As you can see, this card is for Mary Ellen who is a board member at work and I was told she likes violets. I borrowed a tiny stamp, that I think is violets but I'm not really sure, and versa-marked my purple Bazzil for the background paper. The other cardstocks are SU's Almost Amethyst and YoYo Yellow. The image is from Bugaboo, and then I just tied some sheer white ribbon around it with a bow and added some bling up in the corner. I hope she likes it and that it brightens up her birthday!

I've got an appointment at a podiatrist tomorrow, so I suppose I should get a pedicure tonite. Is that goofy, or what? Well I want them to look good, don't I?! Of course they could make it feel worse, that's a thought. I'm not sure what's going on with it, but it's been hurting for at least 3 weeks now, so it's time to get it checked out.

Thanks so much for checking in, I appreciate your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Monday and welcome to Purple Power week!! I came across a batch of purple Bazzil in my stash and decided to use some of it this week. Notice I said some of it, which means I couldn't put a dent in it in a week anyway. Since it's my favorite color, well I tend to gravitate towards it, and then not use it on top of that, but it's time to use what I have.

Today's card is for my sissy, who also likes purple too, and she just scored an awesome new job back home in Milwaukee. I couldn't be happier for her, and I hope it all works out for the best. The image is from Pink Petticoat, the DP from an old DCWV stack called Pocket full of Posies. The flowers and bling are from Mike's and I'm using the sketch from Paper Sundaes.

Have a great Monday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Friday! Whew....we made to another weekend yippee! The weeks seem to go by quickly, but the days are very long and as usual I'm tired. Today's card uses a Pink Petticoat image, with CTMH papers from the Splendor paper packet. Along with some ribbon, Prisma glitter (of course), a flower and a button, and I do think it turned out ok. Not great, but ok for a Friday.

As usual, the weekend will be a whirlwind full of getting what needs to be done and throw in some fun times too, along with lots and lots of good sleep! Thanks for hanging out with me this week, I appreciate all of your comments very much, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
You know you're addicted to coffee, if instant coffee takes too long to make!

Happy PaperPlay Challenge Week #33!! This week the challenge is to PINK it up!!! The sponsor for this week's challenge is Bunny Zoe's craft's, and the prize is a $15 store voucher. I tried to find about every shade of pink I had, and in the end added some black with it for that fun boutique-y feel I hope I achieved.
The stamp is from The Rubber Cafe, called Curled Mug. The base of the card is SU's Pink Passion, with some Pretty in Pink cardstock layered in there too. Both of the polka dot papers are scraps. The image is colored in and popped up and then I added some sheer hot pink ribbon. There's also Prisma glitter, which I love, on the steamy curls.
Speaking of steamy....that's just how I'd explain Arizona right now. It's still humid too! The papers on my desk at work were actually limp, and if you wadded them up in a ball they didn't even crinkle. Yuck! We did get some much needed rain here last night, but not near enough apparently. I know it's probably the same in lots of places right now too, but I'm soooooo over it!

I hope you have a fantastic Thursday, thanks for visiting and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Hello there and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Today's wonderful sponsor is DigiStamp Boutique, which is where this fun little handbag is from. The winner of this week's challenge will get 10 digital images of their choice....yippee!! There are so many cute designs to choose from too! I used some CTMH papers, from the Cherry-O paper packet and paper-pieced the bag. They I added some Prisma glitter on the strap and the flowers, and added 3 pretty sheer ribbon brown bows. I also made a larger version to be able to cut out the flowers from it and add it to the inside to match.
Be sure to check out the rest of what the lovely ladies on our Design Team have created, and join us for the chance to win!
I will also be entering the Creative Card Crew Challenge as well today.

Have a very sweet Wednesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hey there and a Happy Tuesday to you! I made 4 sets of cards like this for our Thrift Shop in a trade for the sheet music. They had a handful of these that they weren't selling and would have been tossed out. I felt kind of sad cutting them up, knowing that someone probably used them at some point to create some beautiful music with them, but then I'm glad I rescued them from the trash too. The images are from Pink Petticoat, the floral paper is from DCWV's Citrus stack and it's glittery and pretty and I like it. Besides the black and white, I also used SU's Riding Hood Red and Summer Sun cardstock. All of the insides are the same as shown above, I packaged 2 cards and 2 envelopes in a clear bag with a black ribbon bow, and I hope they will do well for them.

Have a great day and take care!
Peace & Luv,
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and that you're ready for another great week! Today's card is because I forgot someone's birthday and I feel just terrible about it. This little doggie image from Meljen's I thought would be perfect for it, as I sure want to hide my head in the dirt for forgetting. I try so hard to be so organized too darn it! It's also a good I hate Monday card, don't ya think?!! Anyway, I used some CTMH papers, along with some brown Bazzil for the base. The DP's are from the Bella Paper Packet, and there's also some SU Lavender Lace cardstock that I layered with. The yellow grosgrain ribbon is CTMH, the flowers were cut out with a Sizzlit and I put some button brads in the centers and roughed up the edges with some brown ink. The main image is popped up, and there is some sparkly glitter on the swirls but it's a bit hard to see here. If you zoom in maybe you can seen it. This doggie also reminds me of my Dixie-girl, so of course it's special!

I am entering this card into 3 challenges; I'm using the sketch from Sketch Saturday , the Card Recipe at Paper Sundaes,: which is 4 flowers, 3 buttons, and 2 DP's, The Pink Elephant - Ribbon and Sparkles

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great Monday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi and Happy Friday! I've just got a fun little birthday card for you here today, made with a Pink Petticoat image, some patterned papers from DCWV's Citrus Stack and SU's Green Galore cardstock. Lola Rose is all colored in, she has some glittery jewelry and shoes on, and she's popped up too. Then I just added some ribbon and a couple of rhinestones and this one is good to go!

Have a great Friday, a fun weekend, and take care of yourself!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Paper Play Challenges Thursday! For Week 32 - the challenge is Bon Voyage - which can also be Vacation, Leaving Home, or Moving - Sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, and the Prize is a $15 store coupon! This stamp is from Elzybells, and I'm so sad that Elizabeth has decided to go out of business. She is having a 50% off sale happening right now on everything that is left though, so do get what you can before it's all gone. The papers are from DCWV's Latte Stack, with some SU Riding Hood Red and Pale Plum cardstock. The tag stamp is from Unity; which is popped up, the paper flower from CTMH and then I added a bit of lace, a button and a red crochet thread bow. I'd love to be off and running in my own little red bug to someplace fun, but instead I guess I'll put it on auto-pilot and head off to work!

Thanks for visiting, have a great day, and take care!

Peace, Luv and Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Today's sponsor is Pixie Dust Studio and the prize is 2 digital images of your choice. As always, today's sketch is another winner and great to work with. This White Rabbit is all dressed up and ready to announce it to the world! I chose to use some SU cardstock; Riding Hood Red and Tempting Turquoise. The heart DP is from Sassafras and the dotted kraft colored paper might be Bazzil? Anyway, I distressed and inked the edges of it just for the heck of it. The heart and flower are punches, I'm not sure where on earth I got this heart brad, but I'm sure glad I found it in the old stash! Then I added some pretty ribbon and some blingy rhinestones. The image is cut out with a nestie and popped up. I think he may be looking for his Queen of Hearts!

I appreciate you stopping by today, please check out the rest of the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Design Team's inspirational creations, and join us - you could be a winner!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there and Happy Monday! Today's card uses a Pink Petticoat image, and some black and Summer Sun cardstock. The polka dot paper is from DCWV's La Creme stack, and the glittery floral paper is from the Citrus Stack. Then I added some white ric-rac and some pretty sheer white ribbon. The image was cut out with a nestie and popped up. I also added another little flower and sentiment from the same set on the inside. Nice and bright and cheery!

It seems as though I did the laundry and went grocery shopping and my weekend is over. Wait....that's because that's basically all that I did! Throw in some good sleep and a couple of movie rentals and that's what I call a nice relaxing weekend. I hope your's was great, and that you're ready for another good week!

Have an awesome Monday, I hope these flowers cheer you up a bit, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy, happy Friday!! I love a good play on words, and so today's card is just that! The corset image is from Shirley's 2 girls, and all of the papers are from CTMH's That's Amore paper packet. There's lots of Prisma glitter, I used a couple of oval nesties, and a Michael's wedding confetti flower with a rhinestone in the center. This was fun and I hope you enjoy it too!

Have a great Friday and an awesome weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! Our sponsor today is Di's Digi Downloads! This very tired little guy is just one of the fun little critters, and if you join us this week you could have the chance to win 5 images of your choice!

Basically, I just used SU's Wild Wasabi and Creamy Caramel cardstocks, with a bit of a brown tiny polka dot paper thrown in and a very small strip of Bazzil in the middle. The Creamy Caramel I ran through my crimper and the border punch was a last minute detail I added because I thought it just needed something more. The image is popped up, and the daisies are CTMH.

Be sure to check out the Sweet Sketch Wednesday blog to see what the rest of the gorgeous ladies on our Design Team have come up with and join us. This is a really fun sketch to work with - I promise!
