Happy Thursday! Today's challenge at PaperPlay Challenges is to add a hidden extra to your project. A tag, gift card, journalling, etc. I decided to add a slide out message with this little bee and sentiment stamp set from CTMH. The sponsor this week is Whimsey Stamps, and you can find all kinds of different images as well as rubber stamps there to choose from. You can also get MeJen's Designs images there, which is what I used today with this great flower. All of the papers are from CTMH, and then I just added some pretty sheer golden ribbon. Some more nice fall colors too.

Thanks for visiting, have a great Thursday, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Hi and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! Our sponsor this week is Sweet & Sassy Stamps and the prize this week is a $10 gift certificate to use in the store! That's exactly where this image came from, and although there wasn't a whole lot of coloring done, I think it turned out fun. I did put some fun flock on the bear, but I don't think I used enough glue because it didn't turn out as fuzzy as I was hoping it would. I used some blue chalk around them, and then there's Prisma glitter on the snow. The base cardstock is SU's Tempting Turquoise, and all of the papers are from Reminisce. There's lots of sparkle on all of the papers too. The snowflake border, big snowflake and sentiment are all part of the same set, and these are stickers that I just mounted on top of cardstock.
I do hope your week is good, be sure to take a peek at what the rest of the fabulous Design Team have created, leave them some love, and join us this week!

Thanks for visiting, have a very sweet Wednesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Hi there and Happy Sunday night or Monday, whenever it is you're reading this. I haven't joined any challenges lately, so I decided to see what MelJen's had going on. Well I'm late joining this one, but I did it anyway. The challenge was a recipe; 1 ribbon, 2 flowers, and 3 brads. The flowers and sentiment are from MelJen's, and the papers are all from CTMH's Boom-di-Ada paper packet. Just a fun little fall colored card that I hope you enjoy.

I hope you had a great weekend, thanks so much for checking in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Everyone needs a friend who is all EARS!!

Happy Friday!! Well we made it through another week....yippee!! Today's card is a cutie of a bunny from Bee Crafty. The papers are from DCWV's Summer Dream small stack. The bunny is paper pieced, cut out with a nestie and pop-dotted. Then I just added some pretty green ribbon and some of mike's bridal flowers. Voila....here's your Friday card!

I hope you have a fun weekend in store for yourself. Mine well, I'm just going to play it by ear. Nothing planned right now, except a hair appointment, and that's just fine with me. Thanks for hanging out with me this week. I'll be all ears...teehee...waiting for your comments on this one, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi and Happy Thursday! Today's card uses a Sassy Cheryl's image, and don't-cha just love her? She looks like a little tomboy in a dress to me, that's for sure! All of the papers are SU; the cardstock is Crushed Curry, and the papers are from the Bella Birds set. I used 2 flower punches and added some tiny blue pearls to the centers. From there, it's just a bit of grosgrain ribbon and a button and this little gal is good to go!

Thanks so much to you for poppin' in, I appreciate it and your comments very much,
and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday! I adore Tiddly Inks images, and I just had to get this one being that I just love puppies so much. Christy is the wonderful creator of these fun images, she's awesome to work with, and is our sponsor this week. The rest of the gorgeous Design Team have really knocked it out of the park with their cards, so be sure to join us because as usual, our sketches are the best to work with and you won't be disappointed with the results you come up
with - I promise!

What I used for my card this week are papers from CTMH's That's Amore paper packet, some ribbon, a fun sparkly dog bone, and besides the markers, a circle nestie and some pop-dots - that's it! So guess what, I like it! I've said it before, and I'll say it again I'm always, always happy with the cards that I create on Wednesday and I can only attribute it to the sketches we get to use by the fabulous Arlana.

Have a wonderfully sweet Wednesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Monday....more babies! Today's baby girl card uses a Meljen's Designs image. I love this little guy! The base cardstock is SU's Pink Passion and I cut the image out with a nestie, and also put a shadow of the pink cardstock behind it. The papers are just scraps, and then I just added the 3 flowers with tiny white brads in the centers.

My Saturday was crazy busy but fun with my CTMH party. We always have a good time when we get together, but being the hostess sure did wipe me out. We rented a couple of movies Saturday night; The Joneses and Killers with Ashton Kutcher. They were both pretty good actually. I was a couch potato yesterday. I just stayed in and watched football all day. It's still in the 100's here, and it will be for a few more days I guess, before it finally goes into the 90's later this week. I'm looking forward to that.

I hope you had a great weekend, and that your Monday will be good as well.

Thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Yippee Happy Friday!! This is another card made from the Stampin' Up party that was really fun to make. The cardstock is SU's Rich Razzleberry, and then we used the spider web embossing folder on the Cricut machine with the black cardstock. The bats and witches shoes are from a new Halloween stamp set, called Wicked Cool. What a great set to have! I also added some rhinestones to her shoes. Another great design by our SU demo Jan!

Well I've got a CTMH party tomorrow to get ready for, so I am looking forward to another fun afternoon of creating together and lots of laughs! I hope you have a great weekend, thanks for hangin' out with me this week, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Thursday! At Paper Play Challenges this week, it's create a project/card that is "shaped", no square or rectangle this week! For mine, it's a blast from the past, as I made a card like this quite awhile ago, but was asked to make one for a friend. Thankfully, I still had all of the same papers and things, like running out of paper would ever be a problem... ;). Anyway, the stamp used is from Paula Best, who is a terrific artist and who I was able to meet at one of the stamp shows I went to this year. It's really all about the stamp and then a bunch of embellishments for today, and yes I even threw in a dragonfly! I hope you like it, and be sure to check out what the rest of the gals at Paper Play Challenges have created and join us for a chance to win!

Thanks so much for visiting, have a great Thursday, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!!
Snowflakes are Angel Kisses!!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! It's always a joy to have DigiStamp Boutique as our sponsor, and the images are just adorable, I love them all! The prize to this weeks winner is 10 digital images of your choice, now that's an amazing gift! This little guy just captured my heart and I knew I needed to glitter up that big 'ol snowflake on his nose. I used some of SU's Creamy Caramel cardstock, and then besides white, the rest of the papers are from a winter collection of cards and envelopes that I got on super clearance at the beginning of the year. I can't leave well enough alone and settle for the way the cards look, oh no that's just too boring for me, so I cut 2 of them up and used the papers to work out according to the sketch. Plus they're textured, so you can't go wrong there. Let's see, well the buttons are from the ribbon/fabric/lace/everything you can think of warehouse I've talked about before, and the swirlies are Sizzlits die cuts.

As I've said before I'm almost always happy with my Sweet Sketch Wednesday cards, and I can only attribute it to the fantastic sketches that Arlana comes up with. I'd love to see what you create with it and if you need more inspiration, be sure to check out what the rest of the gorgeous Design Team gals have created. Leave them some love while you're at it too, we all look forward to hearing from you!

Have a very sweet Wednesday, thanks for visiting, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Tuesday! Today's card was made at Saturday's Stampin' Up par-tay using some of the new Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz colors of ink, papers and ribbon. The stamp used along the side of the pink paper, as well as the large pink flower stamped on the white, are both from the Vintage Vogue set. The tiny green stamped flower and sentiment are from the Short & Sweet stamp set. Pink and green together are always beautiful I think, and I hope you like it too. Thanks Jan for all of the fun things we created, and to Becky for being a great hostess. It's always a fun time!

It's still in the 100's here, but at least we're getting a little bit of relief at night, as it's going down to the 70's. We're getting there, and I'm ready for Fall!

Thanks for swinging by, I h0pe your Tuesday is great, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Monday! I've got a little baby boy card to cheer you up today! What a cutie he is, and he's from Meljen's Deisgns. The papers, along with SU's Ballet Blue cardstock, is from the DCWV's Belle Cafe stack. I used 2 oval nesties of the same size, one to just shadow the one in front. He's all dressed up, and sure to welcome that little guy in style with his tie on and all!

I hope your weekend was good, always too short though right?! Mine was a whirlwind of fun with the kids, a Stampin' Up party, a birthday celebration, and then wound it all up with a Packer football win against Philly....woohoo!!!

I hope your Monday will be a good one for you, thanks for coming by, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hey there and Happy Friday!!! Yippeee!! A nice short week, but holy cow was it a busy one. I am really tired and I'm happy for another weekend. Today's card is made using up some older stash, some Bazzill, and then some K&Company DP and matching tag. It's always something quick and easy for ya on Friday's, but having some get well cards are always good to have on hand too.

Have an awesome weekend, thanks so much for hangin' out with me this week, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Hi and Happy Thursday! This is the card that I made for our vintage card swap this week. The chandelier stamp is from Studio G, and I put some Prisma glitter on the light bulbs. The cardstocks are from a pack of paper from JoAnn's, called Botanical. The sheet music is actually vintage. I also used 2 nesties, some lace and some jewels.
The floral DP is from SU's Raspberry Tart set.

How great to have a short week - it's Thursday already yippeee!!
I hope you're week is good, I appreciate you visiting, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!! The sponsor today is Meljen's Designs and I really, really love all of her happy characters and critters, I have to say. This little girl and her kitty are just one of many. I used SU's Ruby Red and Not Quite Navy cardstock with some DP's from DCWV's Belle Cafe stack. The button flowers/heart are Sizzlits die cuts with some white crochet thread tied thru them. The border and sentiment on the inside are also from the paper stack.

I love working with Arlana's sketches, which makes Wednesday one of my favorite card creation days. I always like the cards that I make with her sketches. You'll want to be sure to check out what the rest of the beautiful Design Team members have created too, and join us to see for yourself what fun these sketches are to work it!
Thanks for stopping by, have a very sweet Wednesday, and take care!

Peace & Luv,
Happy Tuesday! Babies, babies everywhere! It seems there's a bunch of the little critters are coming into the world lately, ya?! At least they are here in AZ! So here's a card where I've used this layout before but always go back to it for a cute little baby card. I was surprised that I even still had some of this ribbon left from the last time I made one. The image is from Shirley's 2 Girls, and the cardstocks are SU's Pretty in Pink and Sage Shadow. The striped paper is from CTMH's Cherry-O set. Does the baby look like a boy to you? Hope not!

I hope you had a good weekend, I'm extending mine to 4 days off today and intend to gets lots done! Neal and I had such a fun weekend together and did lots of running around. We also went to see The American; the new George Clooney movie. Aside from looking at George, I didn't like it much at all. Very slow and pretty boring actually. Disappointing.

Well have a great Tuesday, thanks for stopping in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day! It's so nice to have a long weekend! This Happy Birthday card is made with CTMH's Unforgettable set of papers and a Pink Petticoat Lola image. It's pretty self-explanatory I suppose and then I just added some ric-rac, a flower and some rhinestones. There's also some Prisma glitter on the packages, just for some extra fun and bling.

I hope that you are enjoying your long weekend, thanks for stopping in, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Friday glorious Friday, and Day 5 of a Week of Thank You's! I used some of my favorite SU cardstock; Baja Breeze. The lavender looking stamp is from SU's Pocket Silhouettes and the flower is from CTMH's Friendship Garden, and I used some ColorBox Frost White ink for all of it. It's just another simple, yet elegant card, and I hope I've inspired you this week to make some of your own Thank You cards to have on hand when you need them.

Well it's Labor Day weekend, and I'm taking Tuesday off as well to get a nice long 4 days off.
I'm so looking forward to it after a very busy and hectic week. I hope you have a great weekend, be safe on the roads out there, and take care!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Thursday, Day 4 of a week of Thank You's, and also to Week #35 at Paper Play Challenges!

This week we'd like to see you "In Stitches".
Add hand, machine, faux or stamped stitching to your card.
I chose faux stitching to add to this lovely Flirty Fairy from Stitchy Bear Stamps. The base of the card is black Bazzil, and the rest of the papers are from CTMH's Daydream paper packet. On the inside I used the Merci stamp from the SU Carte Postale set, a pink paper flower, a Mike's bridal white flower, and then a Jolee's glitter and pearl sticker in the center.
I did add some Prisma glitter to her wings too. She's a sweetie, and I hope you think so too!

A big Merci to you for coming by today, have a wonderful Thursday, and take care!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday to you and to Day 3 of Thank You week! Today's sponsor of Challenge #65 is Bugaboo Stamps!!! I absolutely adore all the Jodi creates, and I'm trying to talk her into making a dragonfly character too...hehe! The image that I used is the Hummingbird Vase from the Flower Vases set, and yes I have them all! The papers, cardstocks and ribbon are all from CTMH's Perfect Day set. I also used a round Nestie, a Fiskars border punch and there's some Prisma glitter on the hummingbird's trail.

I always have fun with Arlana's sketches, and this week was extra fun, so please join us for the chance to win.......
