If you don't know of Teresa Kline's blog called Enjoy the VA Sunshine, you should.  For this card I was inspired by this little cutie she made, which  I loved immediately.   Probably because of the funny little pun.  When I searched for a duck of my own, sadly I couldn't find one.  I know I have one here somewhere, either in stamp form or on the computer, and that's the irritating part.  Anyway..it's heating up here already in AZ, into the 90's, and when I started this card at 4:15am this morning (couldn't sleep) I thought I heard rain, so of course I was excited and came across this Meljen's image that seemed to fit the mood.  Turns out one of the sprinklers wasn't working right and it was splashing up against the fence!   So now that I'm home from work and have finished watching Idol,  I finally got this finished up and ready to post at 8:30pm.
Since it's technically still Thursday tho I still have to say...Happy Friday-Eve!

What's cookin' - good lookin'?  I've been crocheting up a storm lately, making some dishcloths with a big roll of 100% cotton yarn that I scored from the clearance bin at Joann's.  They are quick and fun, and I got the idea here from Monique at For the Love of Paper.  She was kind enough to pass along the pattern, and I tweaked it a little bit but have been having fun making them.  They sure make up in a jiffy, and of course I had to make a card to match and this gal seemed to fit the bill perfectly.  I especially love the chocolate chips on her shoes!

Papers: CTMH (red polka dot), Cookbookin' - Mom's Diner (green), Kraft and white cardstock

Peace & Luv,

How about being Queen for a Day even if it's not your birthday?  Why not, right?  I'm digging through fabric again and combined with this button tag freebie from Dana Gustafson I came upon, I thought it would be a fun combo.  I'm seeing lots of fantastic inspiration out there in blogland with them, and I love it.  It reminds me of my grandma, and all of the different kinds that she had and how I used to play with them when I was little.  It must have been a sign of future things, and I can thank her for that and many other things as well.  The inside sentiment is also a freebie from Create with TLC, where you'll find literally thousands of free things - Paulette is the bomb!

Peace & Luv,
This is a guest book that I put together for a friend of a friend's daughter's baby shower.
It was very fun to put together and I do hope they like it!
  Very girly, girl!

Peace & Luv,

Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday everybody!  This week's sponsor is Meljen's....yippee...and guess what?  It's bunny week!!  That's right - all of the design team have created cards using some of the cute and cuddly bunnies from Mel.  We'd love to see what you come up with and the grand prize this week is 4 images of your choice.

I used products from my 2 favorite companies; Stampin' Up and CTMH and it makes for a cute little Easter bunny card I think.

Have a very sweet Wednesday and I can't wait to see your creations!

Peace & Luv,

7. Markers

Peace & Luv,

It's quick and cute card Monday!  I've been wanting to use this new little stamp set from CTMH called A Game for awhile and today was the day!  I really like this Juniper color of ink that I stamped the stars in, and it matches the paper from the Wings set.  The stars are popped up on the outside and on the inside to dot the i in Birthday.

Other than that, it's just another manic Monday!
  Thanks for stopping by!

Peace & Luv,
I've got a pic for you today of the project that I put together for the party favors that I gave at my CTMH party yesterday.  It seemed like a fun idea that I found on another blog, and once I got and assembly line going, they came together.  I used one of the CTMH stamp sets that I go to often, called Smiles.  It was a terrific party and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  We're planning a "technique" get together in April where I'll be showing everybody how I created this.  I hope you're having a great weekend!

Peace & Luv,
It's Friday - are you simply shining?!  Of course you are!  You can tell I've been spending too much time on the Pink Petticoat site again when I make a pink a green card two days in a row, right?  Anyway, they give me lots of inspiration there to think outside the box with different textures, and I've found I really like working that way.  Today's card adds some black, in the piece of fabric (do you like the dragonflies?) and I also added a black cardstock layer.  The image and sentiment are Pink Petticoat's.
Inside it says; have a delightful day - and I certainly hope you do!

Peace & Luv,
Happy St Patrick's Day!!!  It's another favorite holiday of mine and a great day to celebrate the Irish!  My card today was inspired by a card done by Liz from Pink Petticoat last year that I thought was different but cute.  I used some heart nesties and grouped them together to form the shamrock with Basic Grey papers.  I like all of the different baubles and textures and the pink and green together.

I hope you have a very fun day, I do plan on partaking in some of the festivities after I get off work, and then I'm taking Friday off to recover...hehe....

Peace & Luv,

Hello there and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!

It's my favorite blogging day of the week and our sponsor is the every wonderful Digi Stamp Boutique.  This gal's name is Beau, and this is just one of the images available of her.  She's all dressed up and ready for a dinner party I think, at least that's the story I've created to make this card!

I used some reversible Mind's Eye paper, and some flowers and rhinestones from Mike's, and that's about it really.

The prize this week is 6 images of your choice, and you won't have a hard time finding something you like because they are all great!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, and join us.  I can't wait to see what you come up with using this week's fabulous sketch!

Peace & Luv,
Are you smiling yet?  This card was made using all CTMH products; the stamp set is called Take a Picture, and the papers are from the Miracle set.  The camera is popped up, the brad dotting the "i" is like a button, and the border punch is Martha's.  Inside it sez CLICK, but I couldn't get a good pic of it.  We will be making a card similar to this at my CTMH party on Saturday. What a fun set of stamps!

Peace & Luv,
Another boy card...remember I told you I had 13 to make this month...well here ya go with something for a Cubs baseball fan!  I have no idea where I got the baseball paper from, I downloaded the Cubs image (it was a free clip art - really!)  There's some red, white and blue cardstock, some kraft paper that I ran through the crimper and then tore the bottom, and the twill ribbon is from CTMH!

Peace & Luv,
This is for a guy I work with that likes wine, obviously right?  I wasn't sure what to do, but in the end I guess it turned out alright.  The image is from Amber Ink and there's some kraft paper as the base and for the sentiment.  I also used some Bravo Burgundy Stampin' Up cardstock, and the DP is from Colorbok; the English Meadow paper pad.  Do you like my little prop....hehe!

Peace, Luv & Happy Friday-Eve!
Hello and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop and the prize for this week's winner is a $10 Gift Certificate...yippee!  I chose to use the Clutch purse set, and the papers are new from CTMH; the Wings set...luv everything about it!  The purses are paper pieced, and then I added some blingy glitter and rhinestones.  The sentiment is also from the Digi Doodle Shop, and guess what...it's free!

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design Team's creations, and join us!

Peace & Luv,

There are a few things that I miss about living in the midwest, and one of them is the springtime flowers like lilacs.  They're beautiful and they smell fantastic and they were such a big part of my childhood.

This image is from Bugaboo Stamps, the papers are from CTMH; the Bella set, and I'm using Sketch #105 from Card Patterns.

Peace & Luv,

Hello!  I know, I know, I know...it's been a few days.  I've just been sick, and had no energy whatsoever for creating.  I'm sorry about that, and I thank you for your patience!

So picking up where I left off last week....this yummy piece of cake is a box that was made at a birthday gifts class that I took.  Now I just made a quickie little card to go with it.  Not having the same materials here, I did my best to match up the colors and get the same feel.  I did remove one of the flowers from the cake for the card, just to bring it all together.  The sentiment is a freebie from Paper Crafts magazine's website.  I think this would make such a sweet little gift for a special gal, maybe with a cute little bangle inside of the box, don't you?!  Fun!

Peace & Luv,

Hello and Happy Sweet Sketch Wednesday!  Our sponsor this week is Di's Digi Downloads, and we all love her don't we?!  I chose to use a Maisy image, and that little puppy looks like he's up to some kind of mischief!  Too cute!   The prize for this week's winner is $5 in free digital images, yippee!!

The papers are from CTMH - the Perfect Day set.  The flowers are a punch, the swirlies are a die cut.  The seam binding is from Martha that I snagged at Big Lots for $1.
